1. Account

As a new customer, do I need to register?

In order to buy from Online Philately, we recommend you to register as a customer. You can easily do so by filling in the form dislpayed when you click here.

Please note that you need to fill in all information marked with *.

Registered customers can buy objects more efficient and get an overview of orders and order status. A registered customer can also create its own wishlist, can receive E-mails with specific objects of interest (see Search agent) and get exclusive offers.


How do I login?

When you have registered as a customer at Online Philately you can login with you E-mail address and your selected password.

If you are a Facebook user you can login on Online Philately with your Facebook account. Click Login with Facebook.


I have lost my password

If you have lost or forgotten your password you can order a new one by clicking here.

Type in your E-mail address that you used when you registered as a customer and a new password will automatically be sent to you. With the new password you can login again and change to a new password if you wish.

If you have not received your new password within 5-10 minutes, please contact us at info@onlinephilately.com and we will assist you.


Can I order without register as a customer?

Yes, but if you select not to register as a customer with us, you will not earn Online Philately Bonus point and be able to access your order history, view your order status, use the wishlist function etc.

When you have finalised your order, an order confirmation will always be sent to your E-mail address.

2. Order

I want to delete an object from my cart

Open your cart by clicking "My cart" in the upper menu.

Click on the X after the object that you would like to delete and the cart is automatically updated.


Will I receive an order confirmation?

Yes, when you have placed your order you will immediately receive an order confirmation to your E-mail address with information about your ordered objects.

You can also view your order history when you login to your account.


I am trying to checkout but I am returned to the cart

You have probably placed too many of the same object into your cart. As most of the objects on Online Philately are unique you can only purchase one of each.

Change the quantity of the objects in your cart that are marked with *** by clicking the subtraction sign "-".

When no object is marked with *** you can continue your checkout. You will always receive an order confirmation to your E-mail address when your order has been registered with us.

I have received a discount code. How do I use it?

When you have selected the objects that you would like to order, click "Your cart". Then click "I have a discount code" and type your discount code and click "Apply discount".

You can also add your discount code when you checkout your order and click "Update".

The discount code is now activated and is displayed in your order total.

3. Deliveries

How much is the delivery cost?

We do not charge any delivery cost on orders exceeding SEK 300. On orders below SEK 300 we charge a fixed delivery cost of SEK 20 per order.


Can I have my order delivered by registered mail?

Yes, you can select the option to have your order delivered with registered mail when you checkout. We charge an extra SEK 89 for deliveries within Sweden and SEK 100 for deliveries to other countries.

4. Objects

What does the abbreviations stands for in the product description?

When we describe our objects we are sometimes using abbreviations to describe the objects quality. You will find a list with explanations of our most common abbreviations by clicking here.


How does object comparison work?

For each object, you can select to add it to object comparison by clicking "Compare". When you have added the objects that you would like to compare to object comparison, simply click Object comparison in the upper menu.

You will now be able to view the selected objects side-by-side


How does Wishlist work?

If you have found objects that you are interested in but maybe do not want to purchase right away, you can save them to your Wishlist. The Wishlist is only accessable for registered customers and when you are logged in.

The Wishlist is automatically saved when you logout and will be available the next time you login to Online Philately.

When you are ready to purchase an object from your Wishlist, simply click the cart icon (Buy now) and the object will be placed into your cart.

Please note that an object placed into your Wishlist is NOT reserved.

5. Payment

Can I pay with a credit card?

Yes, you can pay your order with VISA or MasterCard. We do not charge any additional fee when you pay with a credit card.

6. Returns and complaints

I have received an object that I would like to return

You can return any object within 10 days of delivery. We ask you to inform us on either info@onlinephilately.com before you return any object.

If you already have paid for the returned object, we will repay you to the same account that you made the payment from after we have received the returned object and inspected them.
