Search tips

All our objects are described with Facit numbers as a reference. Many of our objects also have information about Michel numbers and it is possible to search based on Michel numbers as well.

Live search
When you type a search into the search form at the top of the website you will see live search results below the search form. You can either click on an object that interests you in the list or select to view all search result by clicking View all.

A search for F.10 will display all 24 öre Coat-of-Arms that we currently have online. Please note that you need to type a dot (.) between "F" and "10".

If you you do not use Facit you can instead search on Michel catalogue numbers. Simply change "F" to "M" for Michel.

A search for Norrköping will display all objects related to Norrköping (for example stamps cancelled in Norrköping).

All objects on our website that are related to Swedish regions (hembygd) are named in the same way. If you for example would like to search for objects that have cancellations from the region Öland use [H/ÖL] as a search term. Another example on the same type of search is [M/SK] if you are looking for cancellations from Malmöhus county in Skåne.

You can also use combined searches in order to receive a better search result. For example, a search on Norrköping Coat-of-Arms will display all Coat-of-arms objects that are related to Norrköping.

If you are looking for a specific cancellation (ex. Eksjö) on 10 örer Oscar II letterpress, type in F.39 Eksjö into the search form.

You can type the search words in any order.

When your search result is displayed you can select to sort it either according to catalogue numbers or price (ascending/descending).

Many of our objects have tags that you will find on each individual objects page. When you click a tag, similar objects will be displayed as a search result.

You can also select to search for objects in a specific category by selecting the category you would like to search in on our search page. If you for example only would like to search in the category Mint/unused and with the search criteria Circle Type, the search will only display Circle type objects that are mint or unused and that are currently available on our website.
